Reviews for the Microsoft Lumia 532
Double X. Microsoft's Lumia 532 is actually the dual-SIM version of the Lumia 435. Buyers looking for a very affordable smartphone and want to use two SIM cards at the same time will find out what restrictions a price of just over 90 Euros (~$97) involve in our report.

Microsoft Lumia 435 and Lumia 532 are the lowest reaching additions to the already rich in entry level devices Lumia series. With the WindowsPhone OS increasingly targeting budget-conscious users there is some very solid logic behind this. But while playing it safe and not walking off the beaten path might pay dividends in the short run, we are not sure it's the best decision for Microsoft in the long run. The company would certainly like to return to the premium segment eventually, but focusing so hard on the race to the bottom runs the risk of making everyone think of WP as a budget-only platform even if it helps retain some market share.

Microsoft clearly cannot win in this budget segment on the basis of features and specifications alone. The company has therefore tried to create an experience around its Lumia hardware and Windows Phone software. The attempt works to some extent, but there are still a lot of things that Android does better, and not enough things that the Lumia 532 Dual SIM has any advantage in.

The Microsoft Lumia 532 feels and works like a feature phone rather than the usual smartphone. It lacks performance, a good camera, a good screen and better options can be found powered by Android. The Lumia 532 is not a good buy and you will be better off with something from the Android stable at an equivalent price point.

Microsoft:
Microsoft smartphones and tablets have been tested since 2012. There are many reviews with average ratings. The reader's interest is quite given, but the market share is not big enough for the Top 5 smartphone manufacturers (as of 2016).
69.67%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
