GV62 can be purchased for around £750 GBP in the UK and we have no pricing currently for the United States. There has been some significant price drops recently in the Black Friday Sales, and come January 2018, this laptop may feature in some of the New Year deals too – so it’s worth keeping an eye out!

The MX150 graphics chip has plenty of power for esports – which is exactly the kind of games that this machine is designed to tackle. It’s fast enough for older titles and casual games, too, and the rest of the specification can handle web browsing and general computing.

The MSI’s lightweight, attractive design, sufficient power and ability to handle eSports titles and modest games make it a solid choice as a bargain gaming laptop.

The MX150 is a solid esports chip, and it’s built into a good-looking and easily-portable notebook. The low price means that the screen and build quality aren’t as good as they could be, though, and similarly-priced machines have better graphics chips.

NVIDIA GeForce MX150: Pascal GP108 based laptop graphics card and mobile version of the desktop GeForce GT 1030. Offers 384 shader cores and usually 2 GB GDDR5 with a 64 Bit memory bus. Manufactured in 14nm.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

15-inch display variants are the standard and are used for more than half of all laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.
