The GT75 8RG-008ES Titan is MSI's latest offering for the community of hardcore gamers. Why only hardcore gamers? Well, most probably because casual gamers will hesitate upon seeing the equally 'huge' price of this gaming beast. Let's also begin by saying that this is a relatively huge machine. Measuring 58 (H) x 428 (W) x 287 (L) mm, this Titan comes with a 17.3" Full-HD display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution and weighs about 4.6 kilograms; it is certainly not an easy or light machine to lug around. The onboard mechanical keyboard, while tempting, must have added many extra grams to the machine. The MSI GT75 8RG-008ES Titan comes equipped with the new 2.6GHz 6-core Intel Core i7-8850H processor. It also houses the impressive and powerful NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card with 8 GB of DDR5X RAM. If that is not enough, be prepared to be wowed by the massive 32 GB of RAM (upgradeable to 64 GB)! As for storage, it comes with a huge 512GB SSD and the standard 1TB HDD. The MSI GT75 8RG-008ES Titan also has a good number of ports, including one Thunderbolt USB-3.1 Type-C port, five USB-3.1 Type-A ports, one SD-card reader, one HDMI output and one mini DisplayPort output. In addition to a microphone and a separate headphone S/PDIF jack, it also has one line-in and one line-out jack. For connectivity, it has one 10Gbit Ethernet port as well as a dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0 combo adapter.
As mentioned previously, the Titan comes with an RGB backlit mechanical keyboard, branded as the "Rapid Mechanical RGB Keyboard", that has a 25% faster trigger. With the SteelSeries Engine 3, the Titan also lets the user control the "Per-Key RGB Backlight" to customise every single key to their liking. As for the sound, the laptop comes with the Nahimic 3 audio technology that delivers 360 degrees of immersive audio experience that is just perfect for competitive and VR gaming. The speakers are also able to produce high-resolution, lossless audio with ESS Sabre HiFi DAC that audiophiles will appreciate. MSI is furthermore committed to helping gamers embrace an immersive gaming experience. With one HDMI output, one mini DisplayPort output and one Thunderbolt 3 Type-C port, the user will be able to extend the visuals to three external monitors simultaneously using MSI's Matrix Display and latest Surround Mode technologies. The laptop also comes with MSI’s very own cooling technology called the Cooler Boost TITAN; it uses dual fans and nine heat pipes for quick and constant cooling performance. This high-end gaming machine is definitely a Titan in its own class. Hardcore gamers will be able to milk all the power that the MSI GT75 8RG-008ES Titan comes with and still have some to spare. And like its name, the Titan may just live up to everyone's expectations.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Mobile: Pascal based laptop graphics card using GDDR5 graphics memory. Should offer a similar performance to the deskto GTX 1080. However, there is also a more power efficient "Max-Q" version that performs worse than the normal GTX1080 and is used in thin and light laptops.
With these GPUs you are able to play modern and demanding games fluently at medium detail settings and HD resolution.

17.30": This display size is a standard format for desktop replacements (DTR). The DTR laptops are heavier to carry, need more power, but texts are easy to read and high resolutions are no problem. DTR are mainly intended for stationary desk use, where weight and energy hunger don't matter. In return, you enjoy the advantages of high resolutions (more details, better legibility).» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.
4.6 kg:
A laptop in this weight range is a heavyweight that you rarely carry around. This is meant for desktops and the devices tend to score with a large display and high performance and replace desktop devices.
