The new GP72 Leopard Pro-402 is powered by Intel's i7-7700HQ CPU and the GTX 1050 Ti GPU, and it is priced at US$1,126.99, making it the most affordable 17-inch gaming laptop currently on the market.

Thanks to the latest 7th generation CPU price slashes from Intel, MSI has expanded the GP72 family and is now offering the Leopard Pro-402 17-inch laptop for only US$1,126.99. It’s still a budget solution since it comes equipped with the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 2 GB GPU, but the 2.8 GHz i7-7700HQ CPU coupled with the 256 GB M.2 SSD can still run all the latest demanding games on medium details and 60 fps.

Other specs include:
•    17.3-inch display with 1080p resolution – ideal for immersive gaming and movies
•    8 GB of DDR4-2400 RAM
•    Cooler Boost 4 cooling system – specifically designed to keep the CPU and GPU cool after long gaming sessions
•    Nahimic 2 audio system that simulates a 7.1 surround sound setup
•    White backlit keyboard
•    2.5”drive bay storage expansion
•    Measures 16.45 x 1.53 x 10.6 inches and 10.9 pounds weight
•    DVD+RW optical drive
•    1 USB 2.0 and 2 USB 3.0 ports

I stepped into the wonderous IT&C world when I was around 7. I was instantly fascinated by computerized graphics, be them from games or 3D applications like 3D Max. I like to keep myself up to date with all the new technologies that get released at an ever increasing rate these days. I'm also an avid SciFi reader, an astrophysics aficionado and, as of late, a crypto geek.
