With its 17-inch display, Nvidia graphics, and Intel's Core i7 CPU, Lenovo's V17 G2 is well suited for office and multimedia tasks, including simple gaming. Our review shows whether the additional premium for the top equipment is worthwhile for the otherwise affordable laptop.

If you're on the lookout for an affordable all-rounder for office and multimedia use, then you might like the V17 G4 IRU from Lenovo. The 17-inch device features a relatively rarely installed CPU in the shape of the Intel U300 and its picture quality is surprisingly good.

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" from English legend, novo (Latin) for new) was founded in 1984 as a Chinese computer trading company. As of 2004, the company was the largest laptop manufacturer in China and, after acquiring IBM's PC division in 2005, the fourth largest in the world. In addition to desktops and notebooks, the company manufactures monitors, projectors, servers, etc, and specializes in developing, manufacturing and marketing consumer electronics, personal computers, software, enterprise solutions and related services.
In 2016, the company ranked first in the world in computer sales. It still held it in 2023 with about 23% global market share. Important product lines are Thinkpad, Legion and Ideapad.
In 2011, it acquired a majority stake in Medion AG, a European computer hardware manufacturer. In 2014, Motorola Mobility was purchased, which gave Lenovo a boost in the smartphone market.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.
Intel UHD Graphics G1 (Ice Lake 32 EU): Integrated graphics card in Intel Ice-Lake G1 SoCs based on the new Gen. 11 architecture with 32 of the 64 EUs (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). The clock rate depends on the processor model ranging from 300 MHz base to 1050 - 1100 MHz boost. The Ice-Lake chips are produced in the modern 10nm process at Intel produced.
Intel Iris Xe G7 80EUs: Integrated graphics card in Intel Tiger Lake G7 SoCs based on the new Gen. 12 architecture with 80 EUs (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). The clock rate depends on the processor model. The Tiger Lake chips are produced in the modern 10nm+ process at Intel.
NVIDIA GeForce MX350: Successor of the MX250 and most likely a renamed GeForce GTX 1050 based on the Pascal GP107 chip with 640 shaders and a 64 Bit memory bus for GDDR5.
Intel UHD Graphics Xe G4 48EUs: Integrated graphics card in Intel Tiger Lake G4 SoCs based on the new Gen. 12 architecture with 48 EUs (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). The clock rate depends on the processor model. The Tiger Lake chips are produced in the modern 10nm+ process at Intel.

79.23%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
