The Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 4 (Intel) is a 13-incher that performs like a standard 15″ machine. This makes it a good business device for people who are constantly on the go and need a light and fast device. Speaking of which, the portability is great – the starting weight is just 1.09 kg and we got a profile of 15.95 mm. The build feels premium to the touch with its nice and soft finish but the flexible lid spoils the party. Still, the base is solid and it houses two big speakers that offer clear sound with no deviations. The comfortable spill-resistant keyboard is squeezed between the cutouts. The only downside here is the backlight that is optional for the machines in a Deep Black color (which is kind of weird). The board is complemented by a smooth touchpad and a Trackpoint. The cooling isn’t huge but it’s doing a good job in short and medium loads where the CPU maintains high P and E core frequencies.

As I previously stated, I am not the type of person who would use this laptop as intended, such as individuals who do data input in Excel regularly, host or be on video chats, or even use it for work. But it can handle anything that I tested it with. Business use aside, even college students and those in need of a powerful workhorse laptop will appreciate the ThinkPad X13.

There are hardly any tablets in this display size range anymore. For subnotebooks, on the other hand, it is the standard format.
The advantage of subnotebooks is that the entire laptop can be small and therefore easily portable. The smaller display also has the advantage of requiring less power, which further improves battery life and thus mobility. The disadvantage is that reading texts is more strenuous on the eyes. High resolutions are more likely to be found in standard laptops.

As of 2004, the company was the largest laptop manufacturer in China and, after acquiring IBM's PC division in 2005, the fourth largest in the world. In addition to desktops and notebooks, the company manufactures monitors, projectors, servers, etc, and specializes in developing, manufacturing and marketing consumer electronics, personal computers, software, enterprise solutions and related services.
In 2016, the company ranked first in the world in computer sales. It still held it in 2023 with about 23% global market share. Important product lines are Thinkpad, Legion and Ideapad.
In 2011, it acquired a majority stake in Medion AG, a European computer hardware manufacturer. In 2014, Motorola Mobility was purchased, which gave Lenovo a boost in the smartphone market.
96%: This model is obviously considered exceptional by the testers. There are almost no laptops that are rated this well. If the reviews or the sources that give these ratings are to be taken seriously, then it is a very clear buy recommendation. Unfortunately, sometimes top scores are also squandered.
