Lenovo's business-minded ThinkPad series of laptops is one of the most widely recognized brands in the tech industry, although the Chinese manufacturer's focus has arguably shifted more towards consumers as many components are soldered onto the mainboard these days. Either way, one of the most popular ThinkPad models, the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 3 to be exact, may still be a decent choice as the business laptop is currently on sale with a notable discount.

Lenovo itself now offers a very capable AMD configuration of the ThinkPad T14 Gen 3 with the quick Ryzen 5 Pro 6650U hexa-core processor and 32GB of soldered DDR5 memory for just US$1,094 at Newegg. This CPU features the power-efficient AMD Radeon 660M iGPU, and the business laptop further comes with a fairly spacious PCIe 4.0 SSD with 1TB of storage capacity. In comparison, this exact AMD model of the ThinkPad T14 Gen 3 currently costs at least US$1,583 at Lenovo's official online shop, although these prices vary widely due to the always-changing coupon codes. At the moment, this deal offers savings of up to US$489 or almost 31 percent.

We haven't tested this latest generation of the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 yet, but in our comprehensive review of the previous generation model with an Intel CPU, we praised the business laptop for its robust chassis and very comfortable input devices. Since the redesign, the 14-inch business laptop now features a 16:10 display, in this case it comes with a 300-nits IPS panel with just 45% coverage of the NTSC color space. Please also note that this AMD version of the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 3 does not come with Thunderbolt 4 connectivity.
