Lenovo Miix 3 10

The Lenovo Miix 3 10 is a mobile and flexible supplement for the user's home PC or laptop as it can be used as both a tablet or a netbook. It has a 10.1 inch glare-type IPS screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The graphics is driven by the standard Intel HD graphics card integrated n the processor, an Intel Atom quad core CPU with 2 GB RAM DDR3. Additionally, the Miix 10 features a chiclet keyboard alongside a ClickPad. The Lenovo features micro-USB 2.0, an HDMI port, a standard 3.5 mm audio jack and a SD card reader, which supports up to 64 GB. Additional features noteworthy features are the two 2 MP cameras on front and rear side, the mono speaker, and especially its rather durable lithium polymer battery with 25 Wh / 6000 mAh, which can last up to 7 hours. Finally, the tablet's casing is completely plastic and weighs around 590 g with a thickness of 9.3 mm. Thus, it is rather easy to carry around with slip-proof matte material integrated on the surface to prevent butterfingers.

78% Lenovo Miix 3 10 Convertible Review | Notebookcheck
Inexpensive Windows companion. In the shadow of its expensive Yoga lineup, Lenovo has launched an affordable office tablet with a practical keyboard cover that convinced us in the test. Our in-depth review reveals more about its performance, screen, build, as well as other aspects.
Lenovo Miix 310 Review: an affordable 2-in-1 PC
Source: Slashgear English Archive.org version
The Miix 310 is a little beefy when the keyboard is attached, and one would be fair in describing the exterior design as bland. Neither of those things matter much, though, especially not at a price as low as you can get the model. All the things that do matter, though, like the quality of the keys and the stability of the hinge are exactly what we'd hope for in a 2-in-1 PC, and for that reason the Miix 310 is a winner.

Lenovo MIIX 3 (10.1) review – affordable and stylish hybrid device
Source: Laptop Media English Archive.org version
It’s only a matter of time before more and more consumers learn about the advantages of this type of devices and start trading in their conventional laptops for hybrids. The so-called “ultrabook” devices – light and thin notebook devices, will always have their place in the marketplace. Lenovo’s MIIX 3 (10.1”) offers the portability that we need, along with relatively high performance for a passive cooling device. The thing that we didn’t enjoy about the hybrid was the locked viewing angle when docked to the keyboard, which can be a problem if you want to use your device while lying in bed. Overall, we are satisfied with the development of convertible devices, and MIIX 3 (10.1”) is a wonderful example of that.

83.9% Lenovo Miix 3 8 Tablet Review | Notebookcheck
Mini-Windows. For less than 200 Euros (~$223) you can already get an 8-inch tablet with genuine Windows - although it is only the 32-bit version. 169 Euros (~$189) for the Lenovo Miix 3 8 is quite a challenge to the competition. What can be expected for such a price?

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" from English legend, novo (Latin) for new) was founded in 1984 as a Chinese computer trading company. As of 2004, the company was the largest laptop manufacturer in China and, after acquiring IBM's PC division in 2005, the fourth largest in the world. In addition to desktops and notebooks, the company manufactures monitors, projectors, servers, etc, and specializes in developing, manufacturing and marketing consumer electronics, personal computers, software, enterprise solutions and related services.

In 2016, the company ranked first in the world in computer sales. It still held it in 2023 with about 23% global market share. Important product lines are Thinkpad, Legion and Ideapad.

In 2011, it acquired a majority stake in Medion AG, a European computer hardware manufacturer. In 2014, Motorola Mobility was purchased, which gave Lenovo a boost in the smartphone market.

Intel HD Graphics (Bay Trail):

Integrated GPU for tablet and notebook Bay Trail SoCs. Based on the Ivy Bridge GPU with four Execution Units and support for DirectX 11.

Intel Atom: The Intel Atom series is a 64-Bit (not every model supports 64bit) microprocessor for cheap and small notebooks (so called netbooks), MIDs, or UMPCs. The speciality of the new architecture is the "in order" execution (instead of the usual and faster "out of order" execution). Therefore, the transistor count of the Atom series is much lower and, thus, cheaper to produce. Furthermore, the power consumption is very low. The performance per Megahertz is therfore worse than the old Pentium 3M (1,2 GHz on par with a 1.6 GHz Atom).

Z3735F: SoC with an integrated quad-core Atom processor clocked up to 1.83 GHz, an Intel HD Graphics GPU and a single channel DDR3L-RS-1333 memory controller.

79.48%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
