Lenovo Legion Phone 3 Elite and Legion Phone 3 Pro leak with multiple gaming features and up to 18 GB of RAM
Evan Blass has leaked another upcoming Lenovo gaming smartphone, having revealed the 'Halo' earlier this week. According to the leaker, the device pictured will arrive as the Legion Phone 3 series, codenamed Diablo. Supposedly, Lenovo plans to release two devices under the series, the Legion Phone 3 Pro and the Legion Phone 3 Elite. However, the device resembles the Legion Y90, which Lenovo started teasing last month.
Reportedly, the Legion Phone brand replaces Legion Duel, most recently used in April 2021 by Lenovo with the Legion Duel 2. Blass adds that the Legion Phone 3 series will arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and a Pixelworks-tuned display. Allegedly, both models have 6.92-inch AMOLED panels with 144 Hz refresh and 720 Hz touch sampling rates. Additionally, the displays are tipped to peak at 1,300 nits, making neither as bright as the upcoming Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Moreover, Blass claims that the Legion Phone 3 series has dual 2,800 mAh batteries for a combined 5,600 mAh capacity and 68 W fast charging capabilities. A 64 MP primary camera should be on board too, as should a 13 MP secondary camera and a 16 MP front-facing one. Lenovo has not forgotten about gaming features either, though. Purportedly, the Legion Phone 3 series will contain the following gaming-focused hardware and will be available in three memory configurations:
- 4x ultrasonic shoulder buttons
- 2x rear capacitive buttons
- 2x onscreen force buttons
- 2x HaptiX vibration motors
- 2x fans
- 2x Dolby Atmos-certified speakers
- 4x microphones
- Front and rear lighting
- Lenovo Legion 3 Elite - 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM / 256 GB UFS 3.1 flash storage
- Lenovo Legion 3 Pro - 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM / 256 GB UFS 3.1 flash storage
- Lenovo Legion 3 Pro - 18 GB LPDDR5 RAM / 512 GB UFS 3.1 flash storage & 128 GB SSD
