The Lenovo Legion 9i would have probably made more sense as a Legion Slim 9i, setting more realistic expectations that way. That's because this is a performance laptop in a premium slim chassis, one that performs well and runs surprisingly cool for what it is, but compromises on inputs, audio quality and battery life. It's also an expensive computer, especially outside the US, so rather difficult to recommend open heartedly. But it is the most refined Legion to date, and a device I enjoyed using more than I expected at first.

These graphics cards are able to play the latest and most demanding games in high resolutions and full detail settings with enabled Anti-Aliasing.

i9-13980HX: Mobile CPU of the Raptor Lake series that offers 24 cores (8 performance, 16 efficiency cores) with a Boost core of up to 5.8 GHz for the P-cores. As of 2004, the company was the largest laptop manufacturer in China and, after acquiring IBM's PC division in 2005, the fourth largest in the world. In addition to desktops and notebooks, the company manufactures monitors, projectors, servers, etc, and specializes in developing, manufacturing and marketing consumer electronics, personal computers, software, enterprise solutions and related services.
In 2016, the company ranked first in the world in computer sales. It still held it in 2023 with about 23% global market share. Important product lines are Thinkpad, Legion and Ideapad.
In 2011, it acquired a majority stake in Medion AG, a European computer hardware manufacturer. In 2014, Motorola Mobility was purchased, which gave Lenovo a boost in the smartphone market.
