Lenovo has unveiled a new webcam called the Lenovo Go 4K Pro Webcam. It has a physical privacy shutter, AI-assisted autofocus, and can record videos in HDR. It will be purchasable in July2023 for EUR 119 (US$126).

Lenovo has launched a new 4K webcam to go with the many IdeaPad and ThinkPad laptops it announced today. The company claims it is "certified for Microsoft Teams". It will be available for purchase In July 2023 for EUR 119 (US$126).

The Lenovo Go 4K Pro Webcam, as its name suggests, can record 4K video at 30 FPS. Its sensor is capable of 5x digital zoom and can record videos in HDR. AI-assisted autofocus and facial recognition are also included, along with support for M.JPEG and H.264 video formats. While the webcam is plug-and-play, one will need to install additional software to take advantage of its full feature set.

One can connect the Lenovo Go 4K Pro Webcam to their devices via the included USB Type-C to Type-A cable. It has a hook-shaped design that allows it to nestle on top of most monitors. Lenovo has also thrown in a physical privacy shutter to cover the lens when not in use and an LED indicator to highlight when the camera/microphone is in use.
