Leaked details reveal the prices, battery sizes and storage capacities of the Apple iPhone 12 series
Apple is rumoured to be announcing the iPhone 12 series in September alongside other products like the Watch Series 6, AirTags and a new iPad. The event, apparently scheduled for either September 8 or September 22, will showcase four iPhone 12 models that range from the 5.4-inch entry-level edition to the 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max. While we await the inevitable fall iPhone refresh, @komiya_kj has offered details on prices, storage capacities and battery sizes of the four iPhone 12 models.
According to @komiya_kj, Apple will not release any 64 GB SKUs this year. Instead, all models will start with 128 GB of storage. Apple will reserve 512 GB of storage for the two Pro models, but all editions will be available with 256 GB of storage too. The pricing structure of the iPhone 12 series will apparently be as follows:
iPhone 12
- 128 GB - US$749
- 256 GB - US$849
iPhone 12 Max
- 128 GB - US$849
- 256 GB - US$949
iPhone 12 Pro
- 128 GB - US$1,049
- 256 GB - US$1,149
- 512 GB - US$1,349
iPhone 12 Pro Max
- 128 GB - US$1,149
- 256 GB - US$1,249
- 512 GB - US$1,449
Additionally, @komiya_kj claims that the iPhone 12 will lineup with a 2,227 mAh battery, which will grow to 2,815 mAh for the iPhone 12 Max. By contrast, the iPhone 12 Pro will have a 2,775 mAh battery, while the iPhone 12 Pro Max will have a 3,687 mAh cell. @komiya_kj explains that the iPhone 12 Pro will have a smaller battery capacity than the iPhone 12 Max because of its larger camera components and LiDAR sensor.
