Back in July, a leak revealed that HMD plans to refresh its Pulse smartphone series with three new models, one of which is the HMD Pulse 2 Pro. Now, the same source has provided new details about the device including photos of what it looks like.
The leaked info is courtesy of X user @smashx_60, and according to his post, the HMD Pulse 2 Pro will have a 6.72-inch FHD+ IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Back in July, the source had reported that the phone will have an HD+ display like the HMD Pulse Pro (curr. available on Amazon.de for €108.40), but it seems that has changed now.
The HMD Pulse 2 Pro will be powered by the Unisoc T7250 and will be available in three configurations — 6+128GB, 8+128GB, and 8+256GB. The phone will have dual rear cameras made up of a 50MP primary rear camera with optical image stabilization and a 2MP secondary sensor. It will also have a 50MP front-facing camera.
Like its predecessor, it will pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 20W wired charging. The Pulse 2 Pro will have an IP54 rating which means it will have limited protection against dust and should survive splashes. It will also have dual band Wi-Fi and 4.5G. HMD will ship the phone with Android 15 out of the box and provide support for 3 years.
The leak also includes renders of the HMD Pulse 2 Pro which reveal the phone will have a raised camera island that nearly stretches across the upper part of the phone. It will have an audio jack at the bottom, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and an extra key on the left side. HMD will release the phone in Black/Dark Gray and Green and will provide 5 years of warranty.
