The updated user interface will come with the LG G4 flagship that launches at the end of the month and promises to be even easier to use than before, able to better serve each user's needs.

LG unveils today a new version of its mobile user interface that will hit the market with the upcoming LG G4 flagship in just a few weeks. Advertised as "more human-centric" than before, LG UX 4.0 promises a more straightforward but also a personalized user experience that matches the needs of each user.

LG introduced UX 1.0 with the Optimus G back in 2012, featuring Quick Memo and QSlide. KnockON and KnockCode arrived with the second version while UX 3.0 added Gesture Shot and Touch&Shoot. The official press release says that interface enhancements until now "have generally focused on delivering greater convenience to all users" and LG UX 4.0 aims to provide "more optimized and intuitive convenience to each individual at every user level."

LG UX 4.0 brings improved Smart Notice and Camera Manual Mode, as well as Quick Shot, Smart Bulletin, enhanced Gallery or Ringtone ID, a feature that automatically creates unique ringtones for each favorite contact.
