The LG Gram 16 is a terrific work laptop, thanks to the high-performance internals that are capable of handling office workloads and has a lightweight construction yet solid construction. The laptop has a good battery life and decent speakers for a laptop that has a slim profile. There are ample ports for a workstation and a nice overall package with a decent display. However, the premium it commands is a bit on the higher side because competitors such as Samsung offer a better screen and Apple offers a better battery life in a similar price bracket. The USP of LG Gram is less weight so choosing this laptop will come down to this one factor. If your priority is a lightweight machine and there’s no money constraint, LG Gram is a great work machine.

The LG Gram 16 is not perfect, but it does not compromise on core features expected from a premium thin-and-light laptop. It is an ultraportable laptop with a large display, solid performance, and a slim profile. Moreover, it offers strong connectivity options, both wired and wireless, and a range of software features from LG that enhance privacy and security. Overall, the LG Gram 16 is a compelling choice for those seeking a slim laptop ready for various tasks, excluding gaming or heavy content creation.

Overall, I’m a big fan of LG’s Gram laptop. It manages to be a laptop of few compromises, offering ample screen size without breaking backs. As someone who often prefers smaller, sleeker laptops for their portability, the Gram allowed me to maintain that on-the-go style while still providing more space to get work done. Coupled with several quality-of-life improvements, this year’s Gram is one of the best yet. I’d easily recommend it for any on-the-go professional who wants to maximize their screen size without sacrificing portability. Plus, the Gram offers plenty of ports, decent battery life and a full-size keyboard with numpad, all of which can help boost productivity in small but significant ways.

The LG Gram Style is both an interesting experiment and a hilariously impractical buy. I have to commend LG for the creativity that’s gone into designing this device, and it has a combination of truly phenomenal features. The screen, the audio, the keyboard, and the overall chassis (unfortunate bezels aside) are all among the best I’ve tested this year. The touchpad, unfortunately, keeps me from being able to enthusiastically recommend it, even to those who don’t mind the lower-powered processor. It’s one factor, but it’s the primary way that many people will access the rest of this laptop’s capabilities, and while it looks really neat, it’s just not fun to use right now. As much as it pains me to say, I think most people will have a better experience with a regular old Gram.

The LG Gram Style is a stunningly light 16-inch laptop with a head-turning iridescent design and brilliant OLED display, but its performance doesn’t quite match the looks or price.

LG seems to be targeting a specific audience that loves some of the best ultrabooks on the market, with its sleek, lightweight, and very stylish LG Gram Style. This ultrabook stretches light to its absolute limits, as the laptop weighs less than three pounds despite the 16-inch display size. It’s honestly incredible how little this laptop weighs, and how beautiful it looks. The Gram Style is a lovely white color, but what makes it even more striking is the pearlescent finish that seems to glow and change color depending on how light hits it. Its display is also quite impressive, as even the base model is an OLED panel with 2.8K resolution while the other versions hit 3K. The screen supports HDR with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, making it (theoretically) excellent for creative projects as well.

The LG Gram Style is a stunning 16-inch laptop that you can take pretty much anywhere, weighing under 3 pounds. We also really like the rich OLED display, over 10 hours of battery life and port selection. However, the performance from this 13th gen Core i7 laptop doesn’t quite match the high price.

Of all the new LG Gram laptops unveiled at CES 2023, the Gram Style is the most eye-catching. It features an iridescent finish on the lid and keyboard deck that, even under the garish convention center lights here in Las Vegas, managed to look pretty. Like the rest of the Gram line, the Style is an impressively thin and light laptop for its size, with the 16-inch model coming in at 1.2kg (2.7 pounds). In fact, it's so light that the bicep curls and front raises I did using the laptop didn't feel like any work at all (weird flex, I know).

15-inch display variants are the standard and are used for more than half of all laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.

LG Electronics Inc. is a subsidiary of LG Group. It is a South Korean company and was founded as Goldstar Co, Ltd, in 1958. The group offers products in the fields of information technology, consumer electronics and mobile communications, and home appliances. LG Electronics is the world's third largest home appliance manufacturer. As a notebook manufacturer, LG only became known to a wider audience in the German-speaking market in 2005. After a few years, LG largely withdrew from the laptop sector. The product range includes OLED, LED/LCD and plasma TVs, home theater systems, Blu-ray players as well as audio and video players.
74.38%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
