LG Watch Urbane reached the South Korean market about a month ago, and now this premium smartwatch powered by a Qualcomm chip and loaded with Android Wear hits the US. The classy-looking wearable landed in the Google Play Store a few days ago and now Verizon Wireless and AT&T announce its availability as well.
The LG Watch Urbane has a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC, a 1.3-inch P-OLED display with 320X320 pixels, 512 MB RAM and 4 GB of internal storage and uses a 410 mAh battery. The smartwatch has a rich array of sensors, packs WiFi connectivity, and works seamlessly with premium handsets loaded with Android 4.3 or later, such as the LG G4.
Available in silver and rose gold, LG Watch Urbane is rated IP67 for protection from the elements. Both AT&T and Verizon sell it for $349 USD, but while the first carrier will have it in stores starting May 15, Verizon Wireless is already shipping the Watch Urbane anywhere in the US.
