Details about the availability and pricing of the LG V30 have been revealed for the US and the UK. It will be available on all of the major US carriers with Vodafone offering the device in the UK on a plan.

The LG V30 is arguably the most exciting smartphone that Samsung’s South Korean arch-enemy has ever made. The hype surrounding the almost bezel-less device may have dulled slightly will all the noise around the launch of the iPhone X, but there will plenty of people who still want to know how much it will cost and when they can get their hands on it. That time has finally arrived with details of its US and UK availability and pricing now official.

US

T-Mobile has announced that pre-orders will commence from October 5 while it will go live online from October 13, which is also when you will be able to purchase it from the telco’s bricks and mortar stores. Unfortunately, on the Cloud Silver model will be available through the carrier for US$80 up front and the US$30 per month.

AT&T will have the LG V30 pre-orders starting on October 5, but will have it in store the very next day, a week ahead of T-Mobile. The instalment plan will set you back US$27 per month for 30-months. This means by the end of the contract, you will have forked out US$810 for it.

Verizon will also have the LG V30 from October 5, but has yet to announce its pricing plans.

Sprint, likewise, has also not yet revealed its pricing plans, but scores an exclusive on the 128 GB LG V30+ variant.

UK

Carphone Warehouse will be the sole outlet offering the LG V30 in the UK for outright purchase. It can be had for £800, which is around £70 cheaper than the Galaxy Note 8. It will be interesting to see if customers will opt for the V30 over the Note 8 in what amounts to a head-to-head battle between the two flagships.

Vodafone is offering the V30 on a plan for £80 upfront and then £34 per month over 24 months. For that you will get unlimited calls for the duration of the contract and a mere 1 GB of data per month. Cloud Silver and Moroccan Blue are available and will reach customers by November 1.

Details on availability for mainland Europe are still a little on the sketchy side. So far only LG's Romanian store is offering the device for pre-order for the equivalent of £765. Naturally, we will update you with more details on availability and pricing of the LG V30 by region as it becomes available.
