Kyocera is not a big name when it comes to smartphones, but their handsets usually come with something special that targets a specific category of consumers. This time, the DuraForce Pro offers mid-range specs in a rugged body, all next to an action camera. According to Kyocera, they are the first manufacturer to offer such a feature in a rugged handset.
Kyocera DuraForce Pro uses a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, next to 2 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. The 5-inch full HD display is impact-resistant and comes with Kyocera's Glove and Wet Touchscreen Operation technology. The action camera captures video in full HD and features wide-angle lens. Next to it, the handset has a 5 MP front camera, as well as a 13 MP shooter on the back. The DuraForce Pro is powered by a 3,240 mAh battery with support for both wireless and quick charging.
Unfortunately, the price and launch date of this handset are still unknown for now. We will get back to it as soon as they become public, so stay tuned.
