"Iris" included in leaked color choices for Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL; estimated price for 3a revealed
We have already reported on numerous leaked details about Google’s forthcoming “Lite” additions to the Pixel range. Some new leaks have included the color options for the Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL. Along with the usual black and white editions, it seems there will be an “iris” variant as well. “Iris” was the actual word used to describe the color in documents seen by our source.
“Iris”, in terms of color, can be best described as either purple or violet. Unsurprisingly, the name for the color comes from the flower, which actually comes in a range of colors that includes blue, yellow, maroon, pink, and violet. So basically, this third choice could be anywhere from pink to blue on a color palette, but it’s likely it will be a pleasant purple.
As for price, the same source that leaked the color choices has suggested that the Google Pixel 3a (with 64 GB of storage) could cost over 450 Euros (~US$506) at launch. This detail is to be taken with a pinch of salt, but if it is accurate then it will certainly prevent the smartphone from being classified as a budget-level device.
