Deal | Intel's Core Ultra 7 270K Plus drops to $239.99 with two bundled games

Micro Center is selling the Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus for $239.99, down from its $349.99 list price. The chip normally carries a $299 MSRP, so the current offer substantially undercuts its typical price. The listing is for the boxed processor only, with no heatsink included. Availability is limited to in-store pickup, with a purchase limit of one per household.
The 270K Plus is Intel's higher-tier "Arrow Lake Refresh" chip for the LGA 1851 socket, built for the same B860, H810, and Z890 chipset motherboards as its Core Ultra 5 250K Plus sibling, which is also currently on sale at the time of writing for $139.99. The chip pairs 8 P-cores and 16 E-cores for 24 total cores and 24 threads, with a 3.7 GHz base clock and a boost clock of up to 5.5 GHz, plus 40 MB of L2 cache and 36 MB of L3 Smart Cache. Compared with the outgoing Core Ultra 7 265K, the 270K Plus has a faster die-to-die interconnect. Our own testing found that the chip delivers strong performance in rendering and productivity workloads, alongside solid, if uneven, gaming gains.
The purchase also qualifies for Intel's Gamer Days promotion, which runs from August 10 through September 13. Buyers who register a qualifying Intel product receive two upcoming titles: Star Wars: Galactic Racer, releasing October 6, 2026, and Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, releasing February 12, 2027.
