It uses 16 cores (up to 24 possible) and is based on the 5th generation GPU architecture. It is said to work 30% more efficiently than its predecessor and offer up to 37% more performance. The Immortalis-G925 GPUs support Variable Rate Shading (VRS), Deferred Vertex Shading (DVS) and hardware-based ray tracing. The GPU is manufactured in 3 nanometers.

► remove from comparisonThe 12-core Immortalis-G925 is a fast integrated GPU for ARM processors that has hardware ray tracing, Accuracy Super Resolution and other modern technologies. The G925 can have up to 24 "cores"; the 12-core variant is the iGPU that the Dimensity 9400 processor comes equipped with.
It's based on the 5th generation ARM graphics architecture. It's ready to power three-display folding phones as well as drive "WQHD+" resolution displays at up to 180 Hz, and it also HW-decodes the codecs that matter most - AVC, HEVC, VP9, AV1.
Performance
The iGPU delivers ~2700 3DMark Steel Nomad Light points, making it nearly as fast as the Qualcomm Adreno 830.
