Deal | IdeaPad Slim 3i: New 15-inch laptop receives major discount post launch in the US
Earlier this month, Lenovo officially released the IdeaPad Slim 3i 15IWC11 in North America with Intel's Wildcat Lake platform. Arriving months after our in-depth review, the release also lagged about half a year behind the similar IdeaPad Slim 3 15IPH11 (curr. $1,109 on Amazon).
In short, the IdeaPad Slim 3 15IPH11 should be more powerful than the IdeaPad Slim 3i 15IWC11 in most tasks. Nonetheless, the latter was only about 25% cheaper than the former, despite also dropping from 16 GB to 8 GB of RAM and from Bluetooth 5.4/Wi-Fi 7 to Bluetooth 5.3/Wi-Fi 6E connectivity. Now, Lenovo has cut the price of the IdeaPad Slim 3i 15IWC11 on its website.
Currently, the IdeaPad Slim 3 15IPH11 remains at $1,399 in the US. By contrast, the IdeaPad Slim 3 15IWC11 has dropped from $1,049 to $499. In short, this reduction represents a $550 and 52% saving on the laptop's MSRP. Moreover, Lenovo's deal makes the IdeaPad Slim 3 15IWC11 $900 and 64% cheaper than its Intel Panther Lake-powered counterpart.
The IdeaPad Slim 3 15IWC11 features a Core 5 315 processor and a 60 Wh battery, as well as 8 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and 512 GB of M.2 2242 storage. On top of that, the laptop contains a 1200p IPS display boasting 400 nits peak brightness, a 120 Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB colour space coverage. Please see Lenovo's website for more details.
