According to numerous leaks, both versions of the new model will feature aircraft-grade metal casings.

The Chinese manufacturer is preparing a new addition to its budget smartphone line, Honor. The new Honor 7 is being readied for a June launch.

According to numerous leaks, Honor 7 will be available in two variants. Both will feature aircraft-grade metal casings. Specs-wise, they are going to pack the same hardware, apart from the difference in memory and storage space. The basic version will get 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, while the premium one will offer 4 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of on-board storage. So far, there’s no information about whether they will be equipped with memory card slots.

Both new smartphones will sport 5-inch, FullHD displays, Huawei’s Kirin 935 SoC’s, 13 MP cameras with LED flash and OIS (optical image stabilization) and 3280 mAh batteries. The leaked pictures suggest they will also come with fingerprint scanners.

Honor 7 will run Android 5.0 Lollipop with Emotion 3.0 UI on top. Pricing is expected to be $322 for the basic model and $435 for the premium version.
