Honor introduces new fitness tracker series with up to 26-day battery life

Honor has officially announced the Band 11 series, and at launch, the company will be offering two models. Among the two, the Pro is set to be the most feature-packed one, with the company claiming that it will have a 26-day battery life rating.

To compare, the last-gen Band 10 Pro has a rated battery life of up to 14 days, meaning that the successor will be a notable jump. This upper-end smartwatch is also said to feature an "independent five-star GPS" system, which should make it good for outdoor activities.

The company further notes that the Honor Band 11 Pro will have a lightweight design, and it's said to be ideal for sleeping, exercising, and commuting. Not much about the non-Pro smartwatch has been shared, but the company did offer a glimpse of the two fitness trackers.

They don't appear to be much different than the last-gen Band 10 and 10 Pro, but it seems Honor is moving more towards watchOS in terms of the software. As a matter of fact, the promotional images show the fitness trackers with watch faces found on Apple Watch models (42mm Series 11 GPS curr. $359 on Amazon).

There's no concrete word on when the Band 11 series will launch, and Honor hasn't shared any pricing details either. However, the company is expected to share more about the new smartwatch lineup soon.
