Honor X80 Pro Max poses for the camera in four colors as leak reveals key specs

Ahead of the launch of the Honor X80 Pro Max, Honor has released a handful of official images showing the colors the smartphone will be available in. The images also arrive alongside a leak that reveals the phone's full specifications.
The Honor X80 Pro Max will be available in four colors — Vibrant Orange, Lightning Red, Moonligt White, and Mystic Black — with the first two rocking a leather finish. The smartphone has a flat frame, which according to Digital Chat Station is made of plastic. It also has rounded corners and a large cookie-shaped camera island that houses a single camera.
The leaked spec sheet says the phone will have a 6.8-inch OLED display with a 2788 × 1280 resolution. The screen has a peak brightness of 10,000 nits, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 3840Hz PWM dimming. Honor has swapped out the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 of the newly-launched X70 Pro Max for the newer Snapdragon 6 Gen 5, but the source didn't reveal the RAM and storage configurations.
The Honor X80 Pro Max is reported to have a single 50MP camera with OIS on the back while the front-facing camera is an 8MP sensor. Like the X70 Pro Max, this too has multiple IP ratings — IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K. The highlight of the Honor X80 Pro Max is its massive 11,000mAh battery capacity housed in a body that is just 8.08mm thick, making it slimmer than the iPhone 17 Pro Max which has a 4,823mAh battery.
Despite the humongous battery, the Honor X80 Pro Max's weight is given as 203 grams. It has also been officially confirmed that the phone will support 90W fast wired charging and 27W reverse wired charging. Honor has scheduled June 22 as the launch date for the Honor X80 Pro Max.
