While budget phones at the sub-Php 6k are often overlooked at, the Honor 8S’ improvements over its predecessor prove that there are things to like about Honor’s 2019 budget offering. Things like a power-efficient processor and a trendy back panel design are much appreciated, though Honor can still improve the Honor 8S, especially with the camera UI.

To summarize, the Honor 8s is a decent entry-level smartphone that has a refreshing design, slim form factor, light mass, long battery life for its capacity, and bright display. If you are not fond of big screens, this one may be the right device for you. Although, its performance doesn’t stand out among its competitors like the Realme C2 and Nokia 2.2.

Honor follows up last year’s entry-level Honor 7S with the Honor 8S. Bearing the same SRP as its predecessor, Honor made several internal and external updates with the Honor 8S that include a trendier waterdrop notch, dual-textured polycarbonate back, and a newer processor.

Honor 8S is low end smartphone and comes with in-box gifts such as Earphones & Cover. It has DewDrop Display, Face Unlocking Feature and at this price of range, that’s just remarkable. If you are looking for an average device under 20k then Honor 8S is a very good choice.

It is a very small display format for smartphones. You should by no means be mis-sighted and you will generally see very little on the screen and only have a small resolution available. In return, the device should be very small and handy.

In 2014 Huawei created the sub brand Honor and offers certain smartphone series under this name. Occasionally the products are also called Huawei Honor.
The market share of Honor products is manageable, but there are several reviews on Honor smartphones with average ratings (as of 2016).
70%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
