The HTC U12 has appeared on Verizon's Open Development page. The listing claims the device will sport a 6-inch Super WQHD LCD display, a 3500 mAh battery, and IP68 certification.

Word of the HTC U12 has slowly made the rounds across the internet over the past few weeks. The device will be the company's flagship for the year—possibly the only one—and has been spotted on Verizon's website, throwing some more light on what we should expect from it.

According to the listing, the U12 will feature a 6-inch Super WQHD LCD display. Previous leaks have leaned towards a 5.5-inch display but 6 inches looks a lot more valid. For one, the U11 was a 16:9 device with a 5.5-inch display. The U12 will likely be an 18:9 device, so it makes more sense to see a slight size bump up to 6 inches.

The listing claims the device will feature a 3500 mAh battery, up from the 3000 mAh unit on the U11. It also says the device will launch on Android Oreo, and will feature things like an IP68 rating—the U11 was IP67—Bluetooth 5.0, and Quick Charge 1.0, whatever that's supposed to mean.

The listing has, of course, been taken down, but thankfully not before the good folks over at GSMArena took a screenshot.
