Gamescom 2016 | HP updates Omen 17 notebook with GTX 1060/1070 graphics
Not to be outdone by Lenovo, HP will be updating its own series of Omen gaming devices with Nvidia Pascal hardware. The new portfolio includes the desktop Omen X with GTX 1080 graphics and the VR Ready 17.3-inch Omen 17 notebook with GTX 1060/1070 options. HP has also unveiled a curved display that will be the first from the manufacturer to offer G-Sync support.
At about 3.2 kg, the Omen 17 includes G-Sync options with a chassis thickness of about 32.9 mm. HP will bring Bang & Olufsen speakers and a mini DisplayPort that can support external displays of up to 4K.
