It’s too early to draw any conclusions about the new Omen X since we weren’t able to perform our full sets of tests like battery life, performance and cooling capabilities. However, we are can be sure about the blazingly fast performance of the setup as a whole, the excellent viewing experience and the good build quality.

HP also upgraded its command center software to support all the tuning and customization features, including network traffic management -- it doesn't offer Killer networking -- though it still lacks the ability to create game-specific profiles.

This is a very compelling package. The OMEN 15 looks amazing, performs like a beast, and only disappoints when it’s not running on mains power. As a gamer I really like it and would happily buy one if I were in the market for a new notebook for personal use.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Mobile: High-End laptop graphics card based on the TU104 chip with 2,944 shaders and 8 GB GDDR6 VRAM. Compared to the desktop variant, the GPU is clocked lower.

A laptop with this weight is comparatively heavy and less designed for mobility than for use at the desk. Therefore, the devices tend to shine less with battery life than with a large screen and higher performance.
80%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
