HP Omen 17 (2019) review – proper look at the 9th Gen Intel CPUs inside a very strong laptop

As a matter of fact, there are more Intel 9th Gen-equipped laptops that are coming our way (and not only Intel’s by the way), so we are very curious of where the HP Omen 17 2019 is going to sit. We are also curious what the battery life is going to be, but we would know for sure as soon as we can get our hands on a retail unit.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Mobile: High-End laptop graphics card based on the TU106 chip with 2,304 shaders and 8 GB GDDR6 VRAM. Compared to the desktop variant, the GPU is clocked lower. The refresh version in April 2020 bears the same name, but is slightly higher clocked.

With these GPUs you are able to play modern and demanding games fluently at medium detail settings and HD resolution.

Integrates six processor cores clocked at 2.6 - 4.5 GHz (4 GHz with 6 cores) that support HyperThreading. DTR are mainly intended for stationary desk use, where weight and energy hunger don't matter.
