Reviews for the HP Omen 15t-ek000

The HP Omen 15 2020 is a rock-solid contender for the next gaming laptop you buy. It packs the perfect hardware configuration, only thrown off by the choice of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650Ti in an otherwise high-end spec. Regardless, it performed really well in both gaming and creative workload tests we put it through. The display is bright and very colour accurate, right out of the box, something content creators are going to definitely enjoy. Perhaps the most impressive are the thermals, which HP has done a really good job of keeping in check so that your laptop doesn't feel like a toaster and of course, doesn't cause your CPU to throttle. There's also user-upgradeable RAM option, with an additional, empty NVMe slot to add more high-speed storage. The only factor that dampens my spirits about the HP Omen 15 is the lid, which wobbles, flexes and sometimes doesn't even stay straight.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Mobile: Mid range dedicated graphics card for laptops that uses a Turing TU117 chip without raytracing and Tensor cores. Should be slightly faster than a GTX 1650, but is also available in different variants with a TGP ranging from 55 - 80 Watt (and two packages).
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.
