Being stated as the corporate laptop that is too good for a boss, HP Elite Dragonfly has definitely won some hearts in its own way. This laptop was definitely targeted at the corporate professionals with its fingerprint-resistant finish with a shoulder-friendly weight. This laptop comes in with a weight of 2.2 pounds, incorporating a 38-watt-hour battery. While this battery capacity is good enough for boardroom activities and general tasks, there is also an option of purchasing a 55-watt-hour battery for additional cost. Well, the bigger battery is not at all a bad option to consider as it only increases the overall weight of the laptop by 3 ounces making it 2.5 pounds which is still bearable. The Elite Dragonfly has also passed nine MIL-STD drop tests in drop, shock and vibration for those who have a tendency of dropping the laptop while using.
The fascinating headline claim for this model has to be its name as the ‘world’s lightest compact business convertible’ with its 13.3 inches screen display and a 360-degrees rotating laptop. The display is incorporated with IPS touch-screen with full HD. It comes in with 1920 x 1080 resolution along with a maximum brightness of 400 nits and Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top of it. There are also two other touch-screen options available for users which includes the panel with the same FHD resolution but with 1000 nit brightness with the Sure View privacy feature and the 4K resolution display panel option with 500 nit brightness. All three display options come in with minimal-bezel design and a screen-to-body ratio of 86 percent. While there are a lot of blue laptops with minimal-bezel out there, Elite Dragonfly is definitely something to look out for its pearlescent matte-blue shade that is both smart and reasonably fingerprint-resistant with its oleophobic coating.
The keyboard really stands out as HP has CNC-engineered each key housing on its spill-resistant, backlit Premium Collaboration Keyboard which has resulted in a good and firm action which is not too loud for the users. On the other hand, the glass multi-touch touchpad beneath the keyboard also works smoothly, increasing the overall user comfort and convenience while using the device. Just like most corporate premium laptops, HP Elite Dragonfly has opted to incorporate the top-end, 8th-gen Intel Core i7-8665U. In terms of its performance, it gives 200MHz higher clocks in Turbo Boost and 100MHz higher base clocks on paper. But the most important thing to note here has to be its ability to support Intel’s vPro feature which enables easier management of the laptop in a fleet environment, where 200 or 2000 will have to be counted for. The processor also supports Intel’s TSX-NI and Stable Platform features. Overall, Elite Dragonfly definitely promises a good performance, amazing battery life along with a truly classy design for the users out there.

Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

i5-8365U: Whiskey Lake based low power quad-core processor (technically identical to Kaby Lake but produced in a further improved 14nm++ process) with vPro support. There are hardly any tablets in this display size range anymore. For subnotebooks, on the other hand, it is the standard format.
The advantage of subnotebooks is that the entire laptop can be small and therefore easily portable. The smaller display also has the advantage of requiring less power, which further improves battery life and thus mobility. The disadvantage is that reading texts is more strenuous on the eyes. High resolutions are more likely to be found in standard laptops.
