The HP 10 G2 is currently at the Federal Communications Committee (FCC) for Bluetooth 4.0 and other wireless certifications. This suggests that the 10 G2 may be more than just a small upgrade of the existing HP 10 tablet and could retail for around the same price as the Slate 10 Plus for roughly $250.
According to the FCC documents, the 10 G2 will have a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8127 SoC with Mali-450 MP4 graphics, Miracast, and NFC. MediaTek revealed the MT8127 in May of 2014 and since it is not a high-end processor, the 10 G2 will likely be a budget tablet and be priced accordingly.
Other connectivity features other than Bluetooth include WLAN 802.11 b/g/n, MicroSD support, 3.5 mm audio, and a micro-USB 2.0 port.

After graduating with a B.S. in environmental hydrodynamics from the University of California, I studied reactor physics to become licensed by the U.S. NRC to operate nuclear reactors. There's a striking level of appreciation you gain for everyday consumer electronics after working with modern nuclear reactivity systems astonishingly powered by computers from the 80s.
