This special laptop with a custom design and Bang & Olufsen audio will hit the market this fall loaded with Windows 10.

HP announced yesterday "a comprehensive set of offerings – including a unique set of devices, solutions and services – that complement Windows 10 to deliver a deep level of security." One of these devices is the Bang & Olufsen limited edition version of the EliteBook Folio 1020 laptop that has been on the market since last year, but with a few hardware changes and a new look.

The HP EliteBook Folio 1020 Bang & Olufsen limited edition laptop will be one of the first to pack the new HP Premium Keyboard that, according to its maker, "provides optimized, consistent key response based on user testing and feedback." In addition to the new keyboard and the exclusive design, this special edition notebook packs a 12.5-inch QHD display, a 720p webcam, dual-array microphones, as well as exclusive noise-cancelling software.

The detailed specs of this machine and information on pricing and availability will be available in the coming months since HP only mentioned that it "is expected to be available in the fall" and nothing more.

Although I have been writing about new software and hardware for almost a decade, I consider myself to be old school. I always enjoy listening to music on CD or tape instead of digital files and I will not even get into the touchscreen vs physical keys debate. However, I also enjoy new technology, as I now have the chance to take a look at the future every day. I joined the Notebookcheck crew back in 2013 and I have no plans to leave the ship anytime soon.
