Coffee Stain Studios has revealed plans for its first-ever Goat Direct, a digital showcase dedicated to the popular Goat Simulator franchise, which is set to air on April 1, 2025. Despite the April Fool’s Day timing, the developer insists the event will feature genuine announcements, including Goat Simulator 3 updates, partner reveals, and news about the upcoming Goat Simulator card game launching on Kickstarter.
Santiago Ferrero, the Creative Director of the franchise, acknowledged the irony of the date but promised "exciting revelations" without pranks. The stream will be broadcast on YouTube at 10:00 AM EDT (3:00 PM BST).
“2024 will always be the ‘Year of the Goat’ in our hearts, but we can’t wait to celebrate even more exciting revelations coming in 2025," Ferrero said and urged fans to tune in to the livestream.
The Goat Simulator series, known for its physics-driven mayhem, last expanded with Goat Simulator 3 in 2022. The Goat Direct aims to build on its legacy of "pure, unfiltered chaos," although we don’t know the specifics yet. With Coffee Stain doubling down on the event’s authenticity, fans can expect quirky but real updates - hopefully.
As mentioned, Goat Direct will stream live on April 1, 2025, via the official Coffee Stain YouTube channel. We’re especially hopeful about announcements on future updates and a potential next instalment.
Goat Simulator 3, which is the latest instalment in the franchise, is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
