Epic Games' Fortnite x The Simpsons crossover converts the Battle Royale map into a compact, nostalgia-packed "Springfield Island" with nine themed POIs, a Simpsons-themed Battle Pass, Sidekicks, Victory Cup tournaments, timed Twitch and account-link rewards, and a four-episode weekly miniseries driven by a Zero Point shard storyline.

While fans of the GTA-like Simpons Hit and Run never received a sequel and have only been revived by a few modders like the Donut Team, Fortnite’s Simpson Crossover, which launched on November 1, 2025, seems to scratch that itch.

The new Fortnite X Simpsons’ Crossover event transforms Fortnite’s traditional Battle Royale map into “Springfield Island,” consisting of numerous iconic landmarks seen throughout the series.

Springfield Island drops players into Homer Simpson’s hometown, along with 80 other players, with events like Donuts raining from the sky and angry clones wandering the streets. The small, yet rich island with multiple POIs boasts nine locations, including Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, Cletus’ Corn Hole, Kamp Krusty, Burns Manor, Springfield, Town Square, Mayor’s Munchies, Donut District, Evergreen Terrace, and Springfield Slurpworks.

All points of interest feature throwback gags and Easter eggs from the Simpsons series, including the iconic Couch gag in the Simpsons’ residence.

Alongside, Fortnite has launched a Simpsons-themed Battle Pass offering outfits like Homer, Marge, Flanders, Blinky Fishstick, and Springfieldler Peely for players who grind XP. Furthermore, Fortnite launched Sidekicks and Peels, featuring customizable companions, which will officially drop on November 7.

The Simpsons crossover event will follow a weekly episodic update schedule featuring tie-in animations. The full schedule will feature the already live “Apocalypse D’oh”, followed by “Sugar High” on November 10, “Multiplidiocy” on November 17, and last but not least, “The Incredible Bulk” on November 24. The story revolves around Homer finding the Zero Point Shard, causing realities to merge, and Homer Simpson using it irresponsibly.

Further upping the ante is the addition of Springfield-hosted Victory Cup tournaments, which will allow players to win cash prizes for every Victory Royale earned from Round 2 onward. Players can also obtain some freebies, like the Kang and Kodos Glider, by linking their Disney and Epic accounts by November 15.

Furthermore, players can also obtain the “Siiimpsooooons” wrap via Twitch drops by watching half-hour Fortnite streams on Twitch from November 1 through November 2 at 11:59 PM ET.

It’s a fresh change of pace for Fortnite to add a month-long and content-rich update featuring The Simpsons, as Fortnite’s crossovers have mostly been limited to mere skins, emotes, and cosmetic items, along with minor changes to the base battle royale map.
