Epic Games is set to announce its next free PC game today, but it looks like the surprise may already be out. According to Reddit user MeguminShiro, who has correctly leaked several Epic Games free titles in the past, the first free game of February 2026 will be Botany Manor.
The leak suggests the game will be available to claim starting February 5 and will remain free until February 12. After that, it will get replaced with a new title. As usual, once you claim the game during the free period, it stays in your library permanently.
As for what the game offers, Botany Manor is a first-person puzzle game set in England during the late 1800s. You play as Arabella Greene, a retired botanist who lives in a large countryside manor. Your main goal is to finish her research by growing rare and unusual plants. To do this, you explore the manor and its gardens while searching for clues.
The game focuses on solving puzzles by understanding what each plant needs to grow. Some plants require specific light, temperature, or environmental conditions, while others need more creative solutions. Clues are hidden throughout the house in books, letters, notes, and old scientific equipment.
As you explore, you also learn more about Arabella’s life and career. The story is told through the environment rather than long cutscenes, giving players small details as they move from room to room. The game also highlights the difficulties she faced as a woman working in science during that era.
Epic Games users can also grab Definitely Not Fried Chicken starting today. The game will remain available until February 5, and if the leak is accurate, it will be replaced by Botany Manor.
