The Epic Games Store is updating its free game giveaway with a new indie title. This time, the storefront has discounted a first-person puzzler to $0.00, which has been well received by fans and critics alike.

The Epic Games Store is on the verge of updating its weekly free game giveaway service with a new title. In recent weeks, the storefront has focused on discounting indie games, such as last week's Escape Academy. This week's giveaway is no different and comes from the same studio that developed last year's well-received The Star Named EOS.

While The Star Named EOS remains listed at full price, Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery will be available to add to your Epic Games library for $0.00 from today at 16:00 UTC. As always, the storefront will honour its new giveaway for a week, at which point it will switch to a new, and as of yet unannounced, game.

Available across multiple platforms including the PlayStation 4 (PS4) and the Nintendo Switch (curr. $279.99 on Amazon)Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery is highly rated on both OpenCritic and Metacritic with averages of 73/100 and 78/100, respectively. The game has relatively low system requirements for its macOS and Windows releases too, with only an 'Intel Core i7' processor, 8 GB of RAM and 4 GB of VRAM recommended for both versions. Please note that this week's giveaway applies to these releases and not the versions that Akupara Games has published for the PS4, Switch or iOS. More redemption details can be found in Epic Games' store listing.
