Epic Games account holders can pick up another two free games again from today as the storefront looks to round off another month of giveaways. This time, Epic has moved to discounting Machinarium and Make Way after giving away Kamaeru and Strange Horticulture between August 21 and August 28.
As the trailer below shows, Machinarium centres around a small robot called Josef. A conventional side-scrolling platformer, Machinarium tells the story of Josef's attempt to rescue his girlfriend Berta from the Black Cap Brotherhood. Typically sold for $19.99 on Epic Games, Machinarium has relatively low recommended system requirements and is well-rated across Metacritic, OpenCritic and Steam.
The same is also the case Make Way, which averages 83/100, 79/100 and Very Positive ratings on Metacritic, OpenCritic and Steam, respectively. However, Secret Mode and Ice Beam recommend using a slightly more powerful machine to run Make Way than Amanita Design does for Machinarium. For reference, both games offer support for controllers like the 8BitDo Ultimate 2 (curr. $69.99 on Amazon), but only Make Way provides local and online multiplayer experiences. This week's deals will be available for $0.00 each until September 4 at 15:00 UTC.
