Doogee V20 gets a launch date and a special price for the first 1,000 buyers

The teasing is finally over and those interested in the successor of the Doogee V10 can get ready for the arrival of the V20, which is scheduled to take place on February 21. The preorders will go live on AliExpress and the first 1,000 buyers will get a solid discount.

Advertised as "the ultimate rugged phone of 2022," the Doogee V20 sports an octa-core processor, 5G connectivity, 8 GB of memory and 256 GB of UFS storage, as well as an AMOLED display and a secondary display on the back for various notifications. The list of features that make this handset stand out includes a 20 MP night vision camera and a 1.05-inch rear display that can be of great use to help increase the battery life of the handset by delivering information and interactions that require the user to unlock the phone of at least power up the display and check the lock screen, such as checking notifications, controlling music, or checking the time. Although it has a small resolution, it doesn't have to be boring, as it can be customized to reflect the user's style.

The 6,000 mAh battery can be charged at 33 W via a USB-C cable, but the Doogee V20 also supports 15 W wireless charging. The MIL-STD-810, IP68, and IP69K certifications guarantee that this handset (including its battery, of course) can withstand water, drops, shocks, and extreme temperatures.

The full retail price will be US$399, but there is a US$100 discount for the first 1,000 customers. Even more, the first 100 orders get an additional US$20 price cut, the next 200 receive a Doogee CS1 watch, and the following 200 orders will benefit from a price of US$289.
