The second batch of limited-edition Dnsys Z1 knee exoskeletons made in collaboration with Kojima Productions will be released on March 26, 2026. The exoskeleton reflects the world of Death Stranding 2: On The Beach while providing mobility assistance.

Dnsys is preparing to release its second batch of the Kojima Death Stranding 2: On the Beach x Dnsys Z1 knee exoskeleton. The first batch of 100 limited-edition exoskeletons sold out in an hour at a price of $1,998, following a giveaway in 2025. Readers can sign up to be notified of the second drop opening March 26, 2026, but given the high interest, checking the website frequently would be best.

The limited-edition model is a special version of the company's Z1 knee exoskeleton, which was launched on Kickstarter in August 2025. The video game (available here on Amazon) is Kojima's latest in his iconic Death Stranding series and has been reviewed here by Notebookcheck.

According to Kojima Productions' art director Yoji Shinkawa:

"We designed this exoskeleton with the same passion and precision as if it were built for the world of Death Stranding. Every detail was refined to bring the game’s futuristic vision into reality, creating something Sam Porter Bridges himself might wear. Wearing it feels as if the world of Death Stranding has come to life, where imagination and reality finally connect."

The Z1 knee exoskeleton can be worn at the same time as the company's X1 hip exoskeleton that was reviewed by Notebookcheck (sold here on Amazon) for an added mobility boost in a variety of situations from hiking to sports.

The collaborative exoskeleton is AI-powered by a dual-core 240 MHz processor controlling 900-watt motors with every step. It is powered by swappable batteries that can provide hours of powered mobility assistance while relieving knee pressure and extending trekking range, according to Dnsys.
