Devialet Gemini TWS earphones with ANC are the first from the premium audio brand
The TWS earphone market is starting to get crowded so it takes something special to stand out. Premium audio maker Devialet believes it has got the formula right with its first entrant into the segment in the shape of its Devialet Gemini earphones. The Gemini earphones are targeted at the upper end of the segment and deliver the extra features that you would expect at the price point.
The Gemini earphones feature several smart features to deliver better audio. Things start with the companion app that takes just 5 seconds to determine which of the XS/S/M/L eartips are the right fit for a listener’s ears. The tailored listening experience doesn’t stop there with proprietary Ear Active Matching (EAM) technology automatically tuning the audio to an individual’s ears at 10,000 times per second.
Devialet’s Gemini earphones also incorporate Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). The system uses a hybrid dual-microphone system that works in tandem with specific digital filters using proprietary Internal Delay Compensation (IDC). This compensates for the internal delay generated by a noise cancellation loop, further improving noise cancellation at higher frequencies. The Gemini earphones also feature cascading decompression chambers to ensure ideal inner pressure at all times.
In terms of the more basic features, the Devialet TWS earphones deliver up to 6 hours per charge and up to 24 hours with the included charging case. They support voice assistants, AAC audio as well as the aptX codec and are also IPX4 rated for sweat resistance. The Devialet Gemini earphones are available for purchase now and are retailing for US$299. Shipments start towards the end of November and come with a 14-day no-hassles return policy.
