Dell Precision M4600, M6600 Mobile Workstations to arrive soon
This weekend seems to be the time of Dell as we have numerous reports about Dell’s upcoming products and leaks giving out brief details on them. Now we talk of Dell’s two more products that are likely to appear in the near future if the leaks are to be believed-the Precision M4600 and Precision M6600 mobile workstations.
The Dell Precision M4600 will supposedly replace the existing M4500 model and will feature a 15.6-inch LED backlight display while you also have the option to get touch-screen capability. You can also choose from amongst a good range of options for your GPU, they include the AMD FirePro M5950 1GB GDDR5, NVIDIA Quadro 1000M 2GB GDDR5, and Quadro 2000M 2GB GDDR5.
And what is with the Dell Precision M6600? Well this model in particular will feature a 17.3-inch LED display backlight and the option of a touchscreen. You also get better, more powerful GPU options: the AMD FirePro M8900 2GB GDDR5, Nvidia Quadro 3000M 2GB GDDR5, and Quadro 4000M 2GB GDDR5.
As with the upcoming Latitude series of laptops that are to arrive soon too, these Precision laptops will also possibly be powered by the Intel Core “Sandy Bridge” processors, say sources. No news about pricing or availability is known yet.
