Paga Games OU launched Dark Riddle on Steam as a free game in December 2023. So far, this freebie has gained quite a player base, currently having a "Very Positive" rating that's based on 207 player reviews. However, it won't remain a freebie for long. As the devs have announced, the title will switch to a paid model for long-term growth.

There's no specific date mentioned, but the developers have noted that the transition will happen "next week," possibly on June 1, 2025. Players who download Dark Riddle before the transition takes place can keep it for free forever.

For those interested in knowing more about this currently free game, the developers position Dark Riddle as a first-person adventure thriller with a story centering around a suspicious neighbor. This mysterious neighbor's house is filled with traps, puzzles, and secrets. Players are tasked to stealthily infiltrate the home and uncover the hidden truths.
