CyberPowerPC launches Raven X6 gaming laptop

This new portable machine for gamers runs Windows 8.1 out of the box, has a 15.6-inch LED-backlit IPS display and features a 4th generation Intel Core i7 processor, next to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M graphics.

CyberPowerPC unleashed the Raven X6 gaming laptop earlier this week, a product they advertise as "a powerful and stylish gaming notebook." This machine features a fourth generation Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M graphics and a Full HD IPS display.

Like all CyberPowerPC gaming notebooks, the Raven X6 is highly customizable. The base version, called Raven X6-100, comes with the following specs:

  • Processor: 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7-4710HQ
  • Memory/Storage: 8 GB DDR3-1600 RAM; 1 TB 7200 rpm HDD
  • Display: 15.6-inch IPS LED backlit with 1,920X1,080 pixels
  • Graphics adapter: NVIDIA GTX 860M with 4 GB GDDR5
  • Camera: HD webcam
  • Connectivity: WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 combo, 2XUSB 2.0, 3XUSB 3.0, HDMI, 9-in-1 card reader
  • Operating system: Windows 8.1 64-bit and 30-day trial of Office 365
  • Battery: Lithium-ion 6-cell 49 WHr and 4400 mAh

In addition to the above, CyberPowerPC Raven X6-100 also features Supreme HD Audio with THX True Studio Pro technology and a white backlit keyboard with macro keys. Customization options include multiple storage choices, but the processor and graphics adapter cannot be upgraded. Windows 7 Home Premium can be chosen instead of Windows 8.1 for no additional charge.
