The Cubot X90 offers a curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, excellent design and quality materials, good cameras, simple and flexible software without unnecessary bloatware, a fast chipset, ample RAM, a large battery, and a comprehensive package. Despite minor drawbacks (such as mono sound), this new model has every chance of capturing buyers' interest and competing with well-known brands.

The Cubot X90 comes with everything a decent mid-range smartphone should have. It has a more than decent display with accurate colors, a high refresh rate, and more. The same goes for the camera, which is great and has a great ultra-wide camera. The battery is also equally impressive and easily delivers 2 days’ worth of battery life. The best part of the phone is its design and the curved display, which is stunning and very eye-catching. However, this is where the good things end. That’s because it has an average chipset and other phones in the same price range are giving way better chipsets. On top of that, there’s no 5G as well.

The Cubot X100, launched in August 2025, is a stylish smartphone designed for people who want a mix of modern features, smooth performance, and reliable battery life. Built with a glass front, plastic frame, and plastic back, the device runs on Android 15 and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 (6nm) chipset, featuring an octa-core CPU and IMG BXM-8-256 GPU. This chip, along with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM, makes multitasking and gaming fairly smooth. Storage is generous at 256GB, though there’s no microSD card slot, so you will need to manage space within the built-in memory. It measures 171.9 x 78.1 x 8.9 mm and weighs 207 g, making it slightly bulky but manageable. The phone features a 6.88-inch IPS LCD with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, ~260ppi sharpness, and Mohs level 6 protection.

Cubot:
Non demanding games should be playable with these graphics cards.
ARM Mali-G71 MP2: Integrated GPU that can be found e.g. in the Mediatek Helio P23 SoC with 700 or 770 MHz clock speed. Supports OpenGL ES 3.2, Vulkan 1.0, OpenCL 2.0, DirectX 11 FL11_1 and RenderScript.
ARM Mali-G72 MP3: Integrated graphics card from ARM with 3 cores based on the 2nd generation of the Bifrost architecture.
Imagination IMG BXM-8-256: Single core variant of the IMG BXM-8-256. Uses tile based deferred rendering and according to Imagination is about 30% more power efficient than the previous generation.
Only some 3D games with very low demands are playable with these cards.
ARM Mali-G57 MP2: Integrated mid range graphics card with 2 clusters. Based on the Valhall architecture.
