The crypto market has produced an abundance of exciting news over the last few weeks: From the surging Bitcoin and Shiba Inu Coin, to the sketchy Squid Game cryptocurrency which unfortunately turned out to be a total scam. However, the second biggest cryptocurrency in the world, Ethereum, has not made too many crypto news headlines recently.
But while the prices of many of the most notable cryptocurrencies have been more or less flat over the last few days, Ethereum was able to post continuous gains and therefore reached a new all-time high on Tuesday. After the Ethereum price increased by another 4% in the last 24 hours, for the first time ever one ether is now worth more than US$4,500. With a market cap of around US$530 billion, Ethereum remains the second most valuable cryptocurrency in the world.
Some crypto experts meanwhile describe the current situation on the cryptocurrency market as the "calm before the storm", and this prediction is not exactly unfounded. From a historical perspective, November is for example the strongest month of the year for Bitcoin, which was able to gain an average of 53% during November since 2011. One bitcoin is currently priced at US$63,400. As always, such price predictions for Bitcoin, Ethereum and all other cryptocurrencies should be treated with an appropriate amount of caution.
