Corsair is once again under criticism after multiple customers reported that their orders were canceled due to what the company calls a “pricing mistake.” The issue first gained attention when a Reddit user explained that they had purchased a Corsair prebuilt gaming PC on December 31. The order was accepted and confirmed, but was later canceled by Corsair. Shortly after the cancellation, the same system was relisted for about $800 more.
It did not take long for others to come forward with similar complaints. Several users have now reported that DDR5 RAM orders are also being canceled. These reports appeared across multiple threads on the Corsair subreddit, where customers claimed their orders were placed successfully, but the company later canceled them.
Most of the complaints involve the Corsair Dominator Titanium RGB 48GB DDR5 memory kit. According to one buyer, the DDR5 kit was originally being sold for $239.99. After the cancellations, the same memory was reportedly listed for over $500. However, at the time of writing, the product is shown as out of stock on Corsair’s website.
In the cancellation emails, Corsair apologized for the situation. The company stated that the product had been priced incorrectly due to a system error. Once the mistake was identified, Corsair said it had to cancel the orders to ensure accurate and fair pricing across its store.
Corsair attempted to offer compensation by providing a 15% discount on a future purchase. However, this backfired quickly, as customers noticed that the coupon code included in the apology was an expired one. The message stated that the voucher was valid until October 31, 2025, which was two months ago.
