Deal | Citizen's atomic Blue Angels chronograph scores huge 48% discount in new Amazon Prime deal

Citizen's Blue Angels World Chronograph A-T has dropped to $375.23 on Amazon as a Prime-exclusive deal.
Amazon calls it 48% off a $725 list. Citizen does set that MSRP on the AT8020-03L, but Citizen is not charging it either. Its own store has the watch at $543.75 today, so the deal undercuts the brand's own price by $168. Against Amazon's recent pricing, which has been at $536.95, the saving works out at about $162, or 30%. It's still substantial.
You can see another number on the used side. A Used – Very Good copy is listed right now at $504.73, and similar examples have averaged $489.40 across the past 90 days. The new Prime deal undercuts that used listing by $129. Buying second-hand here would be a mistake.
All that money gets you is one of Citizen's denser spec sheets. The H800 Eco-Drive pulls atomic time signals and adjusts across 26 zones, and light keeps it running with no battery ever. There is a 1/20-second chronograph good for 60 minutes, a perpetual calendar, day and date, 12/24-hour switching and a power reserve indicator. Water resistance is 200 m under anti-reflective sapphire. Citizen backs the lot with five years.
The case is 43 mm with 23 mm lugs. It is two-tone steel finished in blue ion plating rather than blue metal, on a polyurethane-coated leather strap, and the Blue Angels tie-in shows up as squadron insignia on the caseback. The bracelet version sits alongside it at the same money.
There are two catches. The price needs a Prime membership. And this is not an all-time low, because Amazon sold it at $236.99 back in November 2020, though nothing since has come close.
