Chuwi gained a lot of attention earlier this year for the LarkBox, but the company now has another version. Little separates the new model from the first LarkBox, although it should be more powerful. Chuwi has called its new mini-PC that LarkBox Pro, even if it is US$20 cheaper than the original LarkBox.
The LarkBox Pro retails for US$219 and comes with a Celeron J4125, a quad-core processor from Intel's Gemini Lake Refresh family. The Celeron J4125 has a 200 MHz higher base clock than the Celeron J4115 in the original LarkBox, along with a 200 MHz higher single-core boost clock and a 300 MHz higher all-core boost.
Liliputing notes that the Celeron J4115 outperforms the Celeron J4125 in some mini-PCs though, but only because of the cooling restrictions of mini-PCs like the LarkBox.
All other specifications remain identical, including dual USB Type-A ports and a USB Type-C port. The LarkBox Pro is available to order now from Chuwi.
